Credit Banking
Credit Crunch

I have decided to hunt down the individuals that are responsible for the international financial crisis. I don’t know who they are, or where they are, but I do know what to use for bait. Real money works better in attracting greedy SOB’s, but the man at the bank today told me that I didn’t have any.

Having a bank account may not seem like a big deal to most people and it is normally taken for granted, but for those who have bad credit or are listed in ChexSystems a bank account is a scarcity. Think about it for a second. Having no way to manage your money, deposit your checks or pay your bills. This is a serious problem and there are millions of un-banked Americans across our country.
Fortunately, there are banks and other resources across the country that work with individuals who have bad credit or are currently listed in ChexSystems. Unfortunately, some of these resources are quite shady and some are nothing more than scams. So before sending money or giving your personal information, you should vigorously research the company you are about to do business with. Below we have listed some of the banking alternatives that have become available and widely advertised as your best option.
Prepaid Credit Cards – These cards are offered as alternatives to bank accounts and you should carefully scrutinize the fees associated with the cards. For example, you could end up paying activation fees, fees when you make a purchase, fees when you deposit money, fees when you call about your balance and more. So be careful, because unfortunately most of these cards are laden with fees and are nothing more than scams. A good rule of thumb is if it costs you more than per month, move on.
Bank Accounts – Were not talking about your normal neighborhood banks. We are talking about small, little known financial institutions that offer extremely high fee checking accounts with little or no real features. For example, you may get an account with no check writing privileges or you may have to wait a couple of days to a couple of weeks for deposits to clear, or they may take a percentage of the deposit. If the account is an online account only and not well known like ally bank or ING Direct, then scrutinize the account you are being asked to sign up for, know the fees and do not send money until you have all your questions answered and in writing.
If you are currently with out a bank account, do not go head first in to the first option offered. You should do your homework and avoid being scammed. For a list of real bad credit banks, check out BadCreditCheckingBanks.com

Wow, wonderfully done.
Ouch! you caught me! I saw a credit card in the thumbnail and came here right away. I think I’ll have you send mine in the mail though — that trap looks a little rusty and I haven’t had my tetanus shot recently. nice DOF and white ground

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)
too funny if it weren’t so true…I uploaded a photo of a car full of dynamite and had an editorial about this very subject…and where I wanted to drive that car…but the 1st comment was one of ‘don’t use violence!" so she missed my point and I deleted the image…thinking maybe no one cares so I’m grateful to see this….glad my money is in a Credit Union and not in a bank….there is light at the end of the tunnel for some financials, like non-profits…but the rest….
Very creative …. and sooooo true.
wow …very nice composition with monochromatic colorscape
That’s awesome! It perfectly captures the huge mess many people are in right now. I really like it.
The World Through My Eyes
You are on the right mission!
It is unbelievable that a relatively small number of people have been able to ruin the whole world economy.

Voting for Mike as our new Money Boss!!!! I actually succeeded (don’t remember how I knew about this) to watch a wonderfully funny and screamingly true video by two English comedians over the responsible credit crunchers….. Have to see if I can dig that link out from somewhere but you might have seen it anyway!

Fabulous idea and presentation.
Money doesn’t really exist any more. It’s just a bunch of digits on a computer screen. Does real money even get transferred from bank to bank, or is it all a shuffling of digital representations of that money?
I was wondering what happened to that credit card in the garage I gave to Anderson to play with. I thought Devon must have taken it. I guess you were the thief.
Thanks everyone.
@christy, yup, I am the thief. It is too bad that it is not a real credit card.
